From Sophora japonica seeds to Rutin - Exploring the advantages and application areas of natural nutrients

2025-01-22

As people pay more and more attention to health, more and more people are choosing natural health products to improve their quality of life. Rutin, as a natural nutrient, has gradually attracted people's attention. Rutin, also known as vitamin P or rutin, is widely found in the plant kingdom and is found in high concentrations in Sophora japonica. It is a bioflavonoid, and like other flavonoids, it also has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It has a good effect on improving blood circulation.

Different extraction methods of rutin will have a great impact on its effect. The traditional extraction method uses solvent extraction, which has environmental problems and residue problems. Modern extraction technology uses more advanced and scientific methods to extract rutin and remove unnecessary impurities, thereby obtaining a purer and more effective product. In addition, Zhongda R&D personnel use formulation technology to prepare rutin nanostructured lipid carriers and rutin nanocomposites with high encapsulation rates, significantly improving the solubility and stability of rutin, making it easier to use.

In order to demonstrate the product properties of water-soluble rutin, the R&D personnel conducted comparative experiments with similar products on the market and found that under the same temperature and pH value environment, similar products on the market were brown-yellow turbid liquids, while Zhongda water-soluble rutin products were yellow clear and transparent solutions; when the aqueous solution was acidic, the solutions of similar products on the market were obviously turbid, while the solutions of water-soluble rutin products remained clear and transparent.

Comparison of application tests showed that after Zhongda's water-soluble rutin product and similar products on the market were prepared into solutions with a pH of 3.5-4.5, they were placed in a water bath at 97°C for 1 hour and filled. After standing at room temperature for 2 months, the water-soluble rutin product was clear and transparent, with no solid precipitation; while the solutions of similar products on the market were turbid, with a large amount of solid precipitation.

In the food industry, rutin can be used as a natural antioxidant to extend the shelf life of food; in the cosmetics field, it can resist free radicals and prevent skin aging, and is widely used in skin care products such as facial cleansers, creams, and masks. It is believed that with the development of science and technology, the application field of rutin will become more extensive and diverse.
